Detroit Madness

My goodness, I just finished reading text messages between Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick and his former Chief of Staff Christine Beatty and my face is burning:

Shame on them both for being so stupid. How could two "educated" people not know that city-owned equipment is maintained and monitored by city personnel? How could they be so delusional to think that the world is theirs and everyone else is just inhabiting it? How could they be so callous and disrespectful of their own families?

Although I'm disgusted with both of them, she really irks me. How are you going to lay up there with someone else's husband and send him text messages on city-owned and maintained equipment about sucking him off and being jealous of the wife whose friend you are pretending to be? Men will be men, they are just dogs and will say anything to get laid, but women are our own worst enemies. Face it lady, you been played, you been had, bamboozled. You were his ho. He said what he had to say to get laid and then went home to his wife and children. You made a fool of yourself publicly and privately. Let's hope you learn from this horrid experience.

And the other thing - both of you, man up! You've been caught, and you look like some d@mn fools denying what is out there for all the world to see! Have a shred of dignity and own what you did!
